quick sewing project

For Ayla’s birthday I bought her a very cute bag…this one from MushyBug on Etsy (my favorite site). Well after all the sewing that I had done for Ayla’s birthday party favors I was actually itching to do even more sewing. I couldn’t believe it but I really wanted to make something else.

I’ve had a couple of Ayla’s cute shirts that definitely don’t fit her anymore. This particular one was an 18 month shirt. But I’ve always loved it and didn’t want to get rid of it, so I came up with making it into a purse. Obviously I didn’t come up with the design myself. It’s very similar to the MushyBug purse but not exactly. Ayla loves it
